New this year- The HLFS set up a fund at the Hudson Community Foundation to accept donations. In the past, we have had many wonderful in kind donations but no cash donations for many decades. Come and meet Hudsonites sharing the fun of the annual Ice Cream Social. Dozens of local organizations are happy to tell you about what they do. Thanks to the City of Hudson and Hudson City School District for much appreciated support.
Did you know? The first Hudson League for Service Ice Cream Social was held in 1947. Proceeds were used to to finance community projects that included teaching an art class at the high school, providing transportation for those who needed a ride, helping at the library by mending books and children’s story times, sponsoring a children’s theater and much more.
