Volunteer Opportunity!
The Ice Cream Social, a tradition in Hudson since 1948, will take place this year on Friday, June 18th on the Hudson Green at the corner of Rts 303 and 91 from 6:00 to 9:00 PM. Volunteers are welcome and appreciated.
Youth groups, sport teams, and individuals are invited to participate by calling 330 655 7658.
Teen music performers who would like to play at the event are welcome to submit an application. Individuals or groups are welcome to apply by April 15th to be considered. Hudson teens will be given priority for selection. Those interested in performing should submit personal information and a sample CD, video or tape to the Hudson League for Service, Box 203, Hudson OH 44236,
The Hudson League for Service was founded in 1947 to provide community service by a group of women who wanted the opportunity to render volunteer service for the greatest benefit to the community, emphasizing the needs and interest of children. As the needs have changed, the projects that the League promotes have changed.
